Rethinking the problem of gender-based violence in South Africa: a conversational perspective

Abstract: This paper argues for an understanding of the problem of gender-based violence, specifically, the problem of rape that is not only based on sociological and psychological factors but also based on morality. This is premised on the fact that research on the problem of rape in South Africa points to different causes other than morality.
