Abstract:Background: Recombinant interferon β is now the mainstay of maintenance therapy for multiple sclerosis in many countries. Retinal lesions are rarely related with subcutaneous interferon β1α in multiple sclerosis. Interferon nephrotoxicity is also an extremely rare side effect.
