RETRACTED: A pipelined multiprocessor system- on-a-chip (SoC) design methodology for streaming signal processing

Abstract: In 2013 the Editor of Journal of Vibration and Control and SAGE became aware of a peer review ring involving assumed and fabricated identities that appeared to centre around Peter Chen at National Pingtung University of Education, Taiwan (NPUE). SAGE and the Editor then began a complex investigation into the case during the rest of 2013 and 2014. Following an unsatisfactory response from Peter Chen, NPUE was notified. NPUE were serious in addressing the Journal and SAGE’s concerns. NPUE confirmed that the ins… Show more

“…This research often incorporates and finds inspiration from concepts originating in statistical physics, biology and ecology, including neural networks, genetic algorithms, simulated annealing, cellular automata and eco-computing. Applied to specific problem areas, these concepts can provide unique optimal performance solutions, which were detailed by Chen et al (2012aChen et al ( , 2012bChen et al ( , 2012cChen et al ( , 2012d. Although the precise nature and technical strategies of these concepts are different, they all possess a common characteristic.…”

“…The sheer number of recent researches integrating GA and neural networks proves the possibility of combining these two techniques (Gruau, 1992;Yao, 1993;Xiu and Li, 2005;Venkatesan et al, 2009). Nevertheless, there exist several obstacles in combining GA and neural networks for applications (Miller et al, 1989;Montana and Davis, 1989;Huang et al, 2009;Lahiri and Ghanta, 2010;Kunt et al, 2011;Chen et al, 2012aChen et al, , 2012bChen et al, , 2012cChen et al, , 2012d. First of all, the applied problem must be formalized into an input-output mapping model of neural networks.…”
