“…Several research have concentrated on the design of MOFs‐based nanoparticles for scavenging ROS and reducing proinflammatory cytokines. [ 138a,141,142,154 ] For example, He et al. synthesized a kind of bioactive ZIF‐8‐capped ceria nanoparticles (CeO 2 @ZIF‐8 NPs) by a simple in situ synthetic strategy to obtain increased catalytic and antioxidative properties, and thereby enhance antistroke therapeutic efficacy.…”

“…In another study, a new Co(II)‐based MOF, {[Co 2 (TCPP)(BPY)](DMF) 3 } n , based on 2,3,5,6‐tetrakis(4‐carboxyphenyl)pyrazine (H 4 TCPP) and 4,4′‐bipyridine (BPY), was fabricated for neuroprotective therapy of the acute cerebral ischemic in rat model. [ 141 ] The results showed that the infarct area of the brain was considerably decreased after treatment of the Co(II)‐based MOF for 2 weeks. The contents of inflammatory cytokine such as TNF‐α, IL‐1β, hs‐CRP and in the serum were apparently inhibited after therapy of the MOF‐based nanomaterial.…”

“…After the occurrence of cerebral infarction(CI), the blood supply to corresponding brain tissues is affected, which leads to ischemia and hypoxia of brain tissues and then denaturation and necrosis, thereby causing damage to brain tissues and neurological functions, and directly affecting the body’s limb motor function. 3 Relaxing blocked cerebral vessels, restoring the blood supply to brain tissues, as well as protecting brain tissues and neurological functions are the main measures for ACI treatment. Tirofiban is a new clinical antiplatelet drug, which can quickly inhibit platelet aggregation, and has important value in dredging blocked vessels and opening the microcirculation.…”
