RETRACTED: Nonlinear vibration of structural deterioration in reinforced concrete columns: experimental and theoretical investigation

Abstract: In 2013 the Editor of Journal of Vibration and Control and SAGE became aware of a peer review ring involving assumed and fabricated identities that appeared to centre around Peter Chen at National Pingtung University of Education, Taiwan (NPUE). SAGE and the Editor then began a complex investigation into the case during the rest of 2013 and 2014. Following an unsatisfactory response from Peter Chen, NPUE was notified. NPUE were serious in addressing the Journal and SAGE’s concerns. NPUE confirmed that the ins… Show more

“…Since then, many successful works in industrial and academic fields have explored this field further, making popular the usage of fuzzy models. Although fuzzy modeling provides an effective solution for real-life plants that are complex, uncertain and illdefined, it lacks available mathematical theories and systematic designs (Lin JW, 2011Lin ML, 2009-b, 2012aLiu KC, 2010;Liu KC et al, 2012;Liu KFR, 2009Liu TY et al, 2011Macha et al, 2012;Mahmoud, 2012;Manna, 2012;Shen et al, 2011;Shih CH et al, 2010Shih BY et al, 2010a-c, 2011a-c, 2012aSumathi, 2011, 2012).…”

“…Following this, a decoupled adaptive neural network controller is derived at the same time to stabilize and control the system. In the end, an example, in the form of a numerical simulation, is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the control methodology, which is displayed to rapidly and efficiently control nonlinear multi-variable systems (Chen CW, 2004;Liu, 2010;Liu KC et al, 2012;Liu KFR, 2011;Liu TY et al, 2011Macha et al, 2012;Mahmoud, 2012;Manna, 2012;Shen et al, 2011;Shih CH et al, 2010Shih BY et al, 2010a,b, 2011a-e, 2012aSoundarrajan andSumathi, 2011, 2012;Su et al, 2011;Tang et al, 2011). automated the conditionbased maintenance process.…”

“…The parallel parking management scheme addresses three issues: trajectory planning, decisional kernelling, and trajectory tracking management. The design of the control scheme is composed of several techniques: genetic algorithms, Petri nets, and fuzzy logic control (Lin CL et al, 2009;Lin ML, 2009Liu KC, 2010;Liu KFR, 2009Liu TY et al, 2011Lin JW, 2011Li et al, 2012;Liu KC et al, 2012;Macha et al, 2012;Mahmoud, 2012;Manna, 2012). It is the GA that is used to decide the feasible parking locations.…”
