“…Several predictors for return to work after the surgery have been presented, including: age, self-perceived vocational disability, a physician's perception of a patient's disability, expectations regarding work, duration of the preoperative absence from work, functional class, a patient's perception of working capacity 6 months after CABG, education, job satisfaction, gender (female or male), physical pattern of work, severity of heart failure, white-collar or blue-collar occupation, preoperative employment, non-cardiovascular illnesses, duration of symptoms, participation in a cardiac rehabilitation program (CRP), immigration status, academic profession, etc. [2,8,12,17,19,[24][25][26][27][28][29][30].
