RG flows in 6D N = (1,0) SCFT from SO(4) half-maximal 7D gauged supergravity

Abstract: We study N = 2 seven-dimensional gauged supergravity coupled to three vector multiplets with SO(4) gauge group. The resulting gauged supergravity contains 10 scalars consisting of the dilaton and 9 vector multiplet scalars parametrized by SO(3, 3)/SO(3)×SO(3) coset manifold. The maximally supersymmetric AdS 7 vacuum with unbroken SO(4) symmetry is identified with a (1, 0) SCFT in six dimensions. We find one new supersymmetric AdS 7 critical point preserving SO(3) diag ⊂ SO(3) × SO(3) ∼ SO(4) and study a hologr… Show more

“…Again, if H c is trivial the only transformations that leave these conditions invariant are 16) with Λ given by (3.12), which corresponds to shifts by a Goldstone boson, establishing uniqueness of the supersymmetric AdS 7 vacuum. Also in this case, when H c contains an SO(3) subgroup, one can have multiple AdS 7 solutions preserving sixteen supercharges, as well as supersymmetric flows connecting them, see [44] for an example.…”

“…Such a set-up should be described by the following Ansatz: F 6−p = m 6−p , 11 Apart from the SUSY solutions, reference [33] has given evidence for a 1-parameter family of non-SUSY solutions. 12 However, reference [44] mentions that the 7-dimensional gauged SUGRA might still exist. 13 Only for p = 5 does this fails at first sight since the absence of curvature of the S 1 factor makes the Einstein equation in that direction inconsistent.…”
