Abstract:This case report introduces a novel type of shoulder prosthesis in 2 patients with hemiplegic shoulder subluxation. A unique reel traction device was incorporated to allow easy traction and accurate correction of joint subluxation. X-ray images taken before and after application showed immediate correction effects that were maintained up to 2 hours after application with no change of sling position.
