Risks of developing ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease in relation to silica dust exposure in Sweden: a case–control study

Abstract: ObjectiveTo determine whether occupational exposure to silica dust causes an increased risk of developing Crohn’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC).DesignCase–control study of CD (K50) and UC (K51) from 2007 through 2016.
