Riverine barriers to gene flow in a salamander with both aquatic and terrestrial reproduction

Abstract: The riverine barrier hypothesis (RBH) posits that rivers comprise geographical barriers to gene flow for terrestrial organisms, thus promoting genetic differentiation between populations.
