Abstract: Detecting fungal pathogens, a major cause of severe systemic infections, remains challenging due to the difficulty and time-consuming nature of diagnostic methods. This delay in identification hinders targeted treatment decisions and may lead to unnecessary use of broad-spectrum antibiotics.
