Abstract:Extensive efforts have been made to use non-invasive 1 H magnetic resonance (MR) spectroscopy to quantify metabolites that are diagnostic of specific disease states. Within the realm of precision oncology, these efforts have largely centered on quantifying 2hydroxyglutarate (2-HG) in tumors harboring isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) mutations. As many metabolites have similar chemical shifts, the resulting 1 H spectra of intact biological material are highly convoluted, limiting the application of 1 H MR t… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
