Robustness and Explainability of Image Classification Based on QCNN

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a multiscale entanglement renormalization ansatz (MERA) feature extraction method based on a novel quantum convolutional neural network (QCNN) for binary scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) image classification.
