Cueto et al (2008) examined recent pellets of barn owls (T. alba) and magellanic horned owls (Bubo magellanicus) from southern Patagonian semi-arid steppes (Santa Cruz Province, Argentina) and observed that Abrothrix olivaceus and Eligmodontia sp. were the most abundant trapped species and the best represented in pellet samples, also with Euneomys sp.…”
