Role of Statins in the Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis: an Update

Abstract: SUMMARY This article discusses the role of statins in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Statins are promising agents as adjunctive therapies in immune-mediated disorders such as multiple sclerosis owing to their immunomodulatory, anti-inflammtory and neuroprotective characteristics.
