Abstract:Herein, we present a sulfonylmethylation of indoles with aryl/alkyl hydrazides and sulfinates that provides viable access to sulfone compounds using rongalite as a C1 source. This protocol features readily available chemicals and simple operations, and the products were obtained in moderate to good yields.
We herein describe an alkylation reaction of indoles with NHC salts to access bis(indolyl)methanes as product. The NHC salt (or free NHC) serves as an C1 precursor by decomposition of...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
