The management of parotid gland abscess includes broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy, and surgical drainage, which is mandatory in patients who also develop neck phlegmon (2,4,10,12,13). Due to various medical problems with which the patients with neck phlegmon are struggling which can also include mediastinitis and sepsis, it is crucial to underline the necessity of complex medical assessment of the patient's general condition and medical therapy, especially incuding the hydro-electrolyte imbalance management.…”
