“…ZIF-8 acts as a sacricial template for the formation of the inner cavity of the nanocapsules during the preparation process, and EGCG enables the drug-loaded nanocapsules have a reactive oxygen species (ROS) stimulation response drug release performance. 101 Fang et al coated the Au/polydopamine (Au/ PDA) on the ZIF-8 by in situ polymerization of HAuCl 4 and dopamine, while the template was etched to obtain cubicshaped Au/PDA hybrid microcapsules with adjustable nanostructure. Two different cubic microcapsules, hollow and yolk microcapsules, can be obtained by changing the synthesis kinetics.…”

“…Tea is a pleasant, common, communally accepted, and safe drink that was originally used as a medicine and is now recognized as a significant industrial and pharmaceutical raw material [ 12 ]. Green tea polyphenols (GrTPs), especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), have several beneficial properties, including anti-cancer [ 13 , 14 , 15 ], antioxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, anti-microbial, and anti-metabolic syndrome effects [ 16 ] as well as improving fertility in humans and animals [ 17 ]. Regular consumption of green tea is associated with a decreased risk of ovarian cancer in women [ 18 ].…”

“…Sun and co‐workers reported polyphenol–metal networks to construct ROS‐responsive capsules that demonstrated the ability to deliver doxorubicin to B16 and BEL‐7402 cells. Jon and co‐workers also reported a drug delivery system responsive to ROS in tumor microenvironments based on biotinylated bilirubin nanoparticles.…”
