Abstract:While ankle fractures most often result from a rotational injury, Lisfranc injuries are more commonly associated with an axial load on a plantarflexed foot. Due to differing mechanisms of injury, rotational ankle fractures with Lisfranc injuries are uncommon and rarely discussed in the literature.
