Abstract: Currently, mostly chemical and mechanical way are used to remove oxide layers from metal layers. However, both retain environmental problems such as emission of secondary wastes. So, the treatment using low pressure arc is recommended to reduce the influence to the environment. However, the metal surface after treatment by low pressure arc tends to becomes rough.
