Round pneumonia in an elderly woman

Abstract: Key Clinical MessageWe describe a case of pneumococcal round pneumonia in an elderly smoker and it demonstrates the role of inflammatory biomarkers and follow-up imaging in ruling out more ominous diagnoses.
