RTNS-II targets: cooling channel collapse under simulated bonding conditions

Abstract: We experimentally determined the pressure limits that can be used to autoclavebond RTNS-II targets without crushing the internal cooling channels. The maximum pressures are 40 to 55 MPa (6 to 8 ksi) in trv? 300-to-450°C temperature regime.
