Abstract:The Fermi-LAT long-term Transient (FLT) monitoring aim is the routine search of 𝛾-ray sources on monthly time intervals of Fermi-LAT data. The FLT analysis consists of two steps: first the monthly data sets were analyzed using a waveletbased source detection algorithm that provided the candidate new transient sources; finally these transient candidates were analyzed using the standard Fermi-LAT maximum likelihood analysis method. Only sources with a statistical significance above 4𝜎 in at least one monthly b… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
