S. J. Gregg, K. S. W. Sing: Adsorption, Surface Area and Porosity. 2. Auflage, Academic Press, London 1982. 303 Seiten, Preis: $ 49.50

… Show more

“…The BET surface area of the fresh Indion 130 resin catalyst was 19 m 2 /g. [16] The pore volume and pore diameter were, 0.39 cm 3 /g and 295 Å, respectively. The concentration of acidic sites in Indion 130 resin catalyst, as determined by acid-base titration, was 4.8 meq/gm.…”

“…In case these values are greater than 2, the isotherms fall into type IV. 13 On the other hand, the hysteresis loops resemble the H3 type in the IUPAC classification. This hysteresis pattern can be attributed to the crystalline agglomerates that result in the mesoporous structure formed by the interparticle space that causes the formation of secondary pores.…”

“…BET analysis (Table ) showed increase in the surface area of the sample with increase in the Al content. The BET isotherm plots (Figure ) showed type IV irreversible isotherms and hysteresis during absorption‐desorption, resulting from capillary condensation in a nanoscale cavity at pressure lower than the saturation pressure . The results suggested interconnected pores structure, and the surface porosity of the samples changed from macroporous to mesoporous with increase in the Al content.…”
