Abstract: IntroductionMalignant Pleural Effusion (MPE) is common and often Results in disabling breathlessness. Non-expansile lung (NEL) frequently complicates pleural drainage, resulting in talc pleurodesis failure. Reliable detection of NEL would allow better clinical decision-making and more rational design of MPE trials.
