Abstract: As a new type of augmented capacity conductor, the current standards on sag-temperature characteristic is not applicable to the carbon fiber composite conductor. This paper proposed a method for analyzing the sag-temperature characteristics of stranded carbon fiber composite conductor based on finite element method.
