Satellite Antennas

Abstract

Satellite antenna systems for both the space and user segments are described in terms of their system requirements, technology, development issues, and test methodologies. Today's antenna systems have greatly contributed to satellite system capabilities and significant opportunities continue to provide further challenges to creatively evolve even more capable and affordable system capabilities. These antenna technology and development issues for different satellite system capabilities and their associated evaluation issues are described to foster till further evolution of satellite antennas.
