Discourses related to the history of classical Islamic figures, especially the study of the construction of scientific fields and their thoughts, are very complex. This is motivated by the large scientific networks owned by classical Islamic figures who have an influence on the major themes in their work. Al-Farabi was one of the Islamic scientists and philosophers who was very productive in giving birth to various scientific disciplines. So that from various scholars in the following periods various opinions and debates emerged regarding differences in understanding regarding studies, especially those that focus on biographies and works. Al-Farabi experienced a period of growth in unfavorable socio-political conditions, namely living during the second period of the reign of the Abbasids. However, this did not really affect the development of Al-Farabi's knowledge. In his teens he had mastered grammar, literature and religious sciences (fiqh, tafsir, hadith science, basic arithmetic and knowledge of the Koran). The exact chronology of Al-Farabi's work is difficult to determine. He wrote treatises devoted to the explanations of Plato and Aristotle. Al-Farabi also developed his own philosophical thought that united metaphysical and cosmological views with psychology and political philosophy. The existence of Al-Farabi's thoughts is proven by the influence of his thoughts on science and philosophy for several centuries and is widely considered to be the second teacher after Aristotle in the knowledge of his time. Al-Farabi contributed a lot in the field of philosophy and several other scientific disciplines, such as logic, psychology, metaphysics, politics and several other scientific disciplines.Keywords: Socio-Political Conditions, Existence of Thought, Scientific Contributions.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs and Subjective Well-Being (SWB) are the two concepts that this paper addresses. The SWB measures used include Eudaimonic Wellbeing (EWB), Human Functioning (HF), and Satisfaction with Life (SWL). Issue: A range of human needs must be fulfilled in order to maintain SWB. However, SWB is not always dependent on the criteria that were considered significant; rather, it depends on the factors that respondents believe are most significant based on their cognitive assessments. Furthermore, people do not have to fully satisfy one need for the subsequent need to rise in the hierarchy. Purpose: In order to determine how SWB relates to the convenience and difficulty of meeting human needs, this study delves into such relationships. Method: Mann Whitney U-Tests were implemented to determine the median SWL across 24 human needs, accounting for both convenience and difficulty. These basic requirements for life are what people typically and widely strive for. Findings: SWB increased by how convenient the majority of human needs can be satisfied. The SWB did not significantly interact with some human needs, despite their being regarded vital.

Human Flourishing (HF) and Maslow's hierarchy of human needs are examined in this paper. Issue: The human needs hierarchy is not a zero-sum concept. The hierarchy of needs does not necessitate that people have to fully fulfil one need before moving on to the subsequent need. Recognizing human needs that are meaningful in promoting SWB, in this instance human flourishing, is crucial to comprehending the hierarchy's relevance. Purpose: This article seeks to examine the degree of human flourishing in Malaysia in relation to the difficulty and convenience of meeting human needs. Approach: Using Mann Whitney U-Tests, the median of HF across the difficulty and convenience of satisfying 24 human needs was determined. These human needs are the necessities and life conditions for which people typically and substantially strive for. Findings: The ease at which the majority of human needs may be satisfied substantially raises HF. In addition, the findings revealed that satisfying four human needs for which HF did not vary was unlikely to affect HF. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs classified these four needs as biological and physiological needs, safety and security needs, belonging and love needs and self-actualization needs.
