The composition and thermodynamic properties of products of the reaction were determined for the values of parameters , and in the pressure range 0.1-10 MPa and the temperature range 298.15-50 000 K. Reaction products for lower temperatures in the region considered form an ideal heterogeneous system in the state of thermodynamic equilibrium at constant temperature and pressure. The properties of a heterogeneous system are affected by phase transitions in the system and therefore attention is paid to the occurrence of condensed phases in the system in dependence on temperature, pressure and values of the parameters , and . The results are compared with data published so far by other authors, who usually assume that the system of products is gaseous. Among the many thermodynamic properties, the values of the specific heat capacity at constant pressure are given in particular.

This paper has for objectives to present the radiative and the transport properties for people beginning in thermal plasmas. The first section will briefly recall the equations defined in numerical models applied to thermal plasmas; the second section will particularly deal with the estimation of radiative losses; the third part will quickly present the thermodynamics properties; and the last part will concern the transport coefficients (thermal conductivity, viscosity and electrical conductivity of the gas or mixtures of gases). We shall conclude the paper with a discussion about the validity of these results the lack of data for some specific applications, and some perspectives concerning these properties for non-equilibrium thermal plasmas. General equations are derived whose solution gives the dependence of species concentrations of a closed gaseous system on time for a given dependence of temperature on time, on the assumption that either the dependence of pressure in on time or the dependence of volume of system on time is given. Some results from solving a previously proposed model are given for the case when is created by the products of dissociation and ionization and the temperature decreases exponentially from 10 000 K to 2500 K. Special attention is devoted to the relation between time-dependent composition and equilibrium composition.
