Abstract

He has published widely on professional wrestling, including the monograph Wrestling in Britain: Sporting Entertainments, Celebrity and Audiences. Tom Phillips is a Lecturer in Humanities at the University of East Anglia, UK. He is the co-chair of the Fan Studies Network, and has been published in Cultural Trends, Celebrity Studies, and Media, Culture & Society. Claire Warden is Professor of Performance and Physical Culture at Loughborough University. She is the co-editor of Performance and Professional Wrestling (2016) and co-founder of the Arts Councilfunded Wrestling Resurgence collective.
