, for work on Li-and Ca-based battery systems and charge storage mechanisms in organic electrode materials supervised by Ram Seshadri and Galen D. Stucky.A sa postdoctoral fellow with Andrew A. Gewirth at University of Illinois,U rbana-Champaign, she studied Mg and Zn battery electrolytes (2014-2017). Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the California Institute of Te chnology,P asadena. See studies the electrochemistry of earth-abundant and inexpensive materials for application in next-generation batteries. She focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms associated with multivalent and multielectron processes.See has been among the authors of aC ommunication in Advanced Materials on a stable polyaniline-benzoquinone-hydroquinone supercapacitor [1a] and of aF ull Paper in Advanced Energy Materials on ah igh-capacity calcium primary cell based on the Ca-S system. [1b] In 2019, she has also received aB eckman Young Investigator Award.
