Sclerosing Stromal Tumor: A Rare Sex Cord Stromal Ovarian Neoplasm

Abstract: Sclerosing stromal tumor (SST) is an extremely rare, benign distinctive ovarian sex cord stromal tumor. The tumor occurs predominately in the second and third decades of life. Due to the presence of both solid and cystic components with rich vascularity,it can be mistaken for malignant ovarian tumors on ultrasonography and other radiological investigations.
