Beam‐steering orbit angular momentum vortex waves by mechanically rotating transmitarray

Abstract: In this article, beam-steering orbit angular momentum (OAM) beams by mechanical rotating transmitarray, which is formed by three layer metasurfaces (MSs), is proposed. It is the first time to achieve steering OAM beams based on mechanical rotating transmitarray in microwave region. By mechanically rotating the middle and bottom MSs, different phase distributions are obtained, and then OAM beams in corresponding directions are generated.
