Two‐dimensional spectrum detection based on the imperfect virtually imaged phased array

Abstract: Virtually imaged phased array (VIPA) is typically consists of a thin plate of glass coated with high reflection film coated on both sides. The effects of plate defects on virtually imaged phased array are investigated in this article. We mainly analyze the parallelism and surface roughness of the glass plate by simulation.
