Background Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common tumor of the male genitourinary system. With the development of imaging technology, the role of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the management of PCa is increasing. The present study summarizes research on the application of MRI in the field of PCa using bibliometric analysis and predicts future research hotspots. Methods Articles regarding the application of MRI in PCa between January 1, 1984 and June 30, 2022 were selected from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) on November 6, 2022. Microsoft Excel 2016 and the Bibliometrix Biblioshiny R-package software were used for data analysis and bibliometric indicator extraction. CiteSpace (version 6.1.R3) was used to visualize literature feature clustering, including co-occurrence analysis of countries, institutions, authors, references, and burst keywords analysis. Results A total of 10,230 articles were included in the study. Turkbey was the most prolific author. The USA was the most productive country and had strong partnerships with other countries. The most productive institution was Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Radiology were the most productive and highest impact factor (IF) journals in the field, respectively. Timeline views showed that “#1 multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging”, “#4 pi-rads”, and “#8 psma” were currently the latest research hotspots. Keywords burst analysis showed that “machine learning”, “psa density”, “multi parametric mri”, “deep learning”, and “artificial intelligence” were the most frequently used keywords in the past 3 years. Conclusions MRI has a wide range of applications in PCa. The USA is the leading country in this field, with a concentration of highly productive and high-level institutions. Meanwhile, it can be projected that “deep learning”, “radiomics”, and “artificial intelligence” will be research hotspots in the future.

Geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) has emerged as a pivotal tool in addressing the complexities of urban security, offering insights crucial for effective decision-making and resource allocation in the face of evolving threats. This review examines the multifaceted applications and outcomes of GEOINT in enhancing urban security, encompassing its utilization in surveillance, risk assessment, disaster management, and infrastructure protection. The proliferation of advanced satellite imaging, aerial photography, and geographic information systems (GIS) has revolutionized urban security efforts. Through the integration of various data sources, GEOINT enables the comprehensive mapping and monitoring of urban landscapes, facilitating the identification of vulnerable areas and potential security risks. This proactive approach empowers authorities to preemptively deploy resources and implement targeted interventions, thereby mitigating potential threats before they escalate. Moreover, GEOINT plays a pivotal role in enhancing situational awareness during emergencies and crises. By providing real-time updates on evolving situations, including natural disasters or terrorist activities, GEOINT facilitates rapid response and coordination among emergency responders. Furthermore, its ability to overlay spatial data with demographic and socio-economic information enables a nuanced understanding of the urban environment, ensuring more effective emergency management strategies tailored to specific community needs. Furthermore, GEOINT is instrumental in safeguarding critical urban infrastructure, such as transportation networks, power plants, and water supply systems, from potential security breaches. Through comprehensive spatial analysis, vulnerabilities within infrastructure networks can be identified, and security measures can be optimized to mitigate risks and ensure resilience against potential threats. This review also explores the emerging trends and future directions in the utilization of GEOINT for urban security, including the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics and anomaly detection. Additionally, the ethical and privacy implications associated with the widespread adoption of GEOINT in urban security are discussed, emphasizing the importance of responsible data governance and transparency. The evolving role of GEOINT in enhancing urban security underscores its indispensability in addressing contemporary security challenges. By leveraging spatial data and advanced analytics, GEOINT offers a comprehensive and proactive approach to safeguarding urban environments, thereby ensuring the safety and resilience of communities in an increasingly complex threat landscape. The combination of statistical learning technologies with large databases of psychophysiological data has appropriately generated enthusiastic interest in future clinical applicability. It is argued here that this enthusiasm should be tempered with the understanding that significant obstacles must be overcome before the systematic introduction of psychophysiological measures into neuropsychiatric practice becomes possible. The objective of this study is to identify challenges to this effort. The nonspecificity of psychophysiological measures complicates their use in diagnosis. Low test-retest reliability complicates use in longitudinal assessment, and quantitative psychophysiological measures can normalize in response to placebo intervention. Ten cautionary observations are introduced and, in some instances, possible directions for remediation are suggested.
