“…Due to the complex life history of marine turtles [ 1 , 2 , 10 , 14 , 15 ], knowledge of their spatial and temporal distributions is essential for understanding population structures and focusing conservation efforts. The southeast Atlantic coast of Florida hosts some of the world’s largest sea turtle rookeries [ 16 – 18 ] and provides valuable in-water habitat for various life stages and species [ 19 ].
