Abstract:We present a search for the rare, flavour-changing-neutral-current decay B − → Λ pνν at the BABAR experiment. We see no evidence for signal decays and set an upper limit of B(B − → Λ pνν) < 3.0 × 10 −5 at the 90% confidence level. This result is the first experimental limit on this decay mode.
