Search for three-nucleon force effects in two-body photodisintegration of3He(3H)and in the t

Abstract: Faddeev calculations have been performed for nucleon-deuteron photodisintegration of 3 He ( 3 H) and proton-deuteron radiative capture. The bulk of the results is based on the AV18 nucleon-nucleon force and the Urbana IX threenucleon force together with explicit exchange currents or applying the Siegert approach. Three-nucleon force effects are predicted for both processes and are qualitatively supported by available data. 21.45.+v, 24.70.+s, 25.10.+s, 25.40.Lw

“…Their measurement and analysis are much Fig. 1 Schematic view of the detection system more difficult due to low cross section values, however, they are also fundamental to our understanding of the nuclear dynamics [10,11] and there are open questions concerning a mechanism of the bremsstrahlung process [12]. During the measurement the beam intensity was (1.3-1.4)×10 8 deuterons in the flat top.…”

“…The present study is based on the formalism described in detail in [15,16,17,18,11], so here we display only the main steps. We work in the momentum space and use formalism of the Faddeev equations.…”
