Second-order statistics for the envelope and phase of η-μ generalized fading channels

Abstract: This paper proposes an analysis of the second-order statistics concerning the envelope and phase of η-µ generalized fading channels. So, a simple and closed-form expression for the phase crossing rate of the signal operating in such channels will be obtained. Furthermore, exact expressions for the level crossing rate and average fade duration of η-µ channels will also be attained.
