Abstract:Lake Limboto, located in the Gorontalo basin, is experiencing significant degradation due to sedimentation exacerbated by deforestation and unsustainable agricultural practices. Sedimentation dynamics in Lake Limboto are shaped by a combination of natural and anthropogenic processes, including erosion from the catchment area and waste generated by human activities.
