Abstract:Cassava is an important root crop that is produced by smallholder farmers across Sub-Saharan Africa. Cassava mosaic disease (CMD), which is caused by a complex of cassava mosaic begomoviruses (CMBs), is one of the most devastating diseases of cassava.
