Selected Lipid Profile in the Serum & Tissues of Weaned Male Albino Rats Fed on Processed Atlantic Horse Mackerel (<i>Trachurus trachurus</i>)

Abstract: Trachurus trachurus (locally called kote) is a low cost table fish in south-west Nigeria. Study was conducted to determine the effect of processed kote on total triglycerides (TG) & cholesterol (Chol) in the serum as well as lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatinine (CRT), Chol and glucose (Gluc) in selected tissues of weaned male albino rats using standard methods.
