Selection of accessing and development schemes for extracting reserves of ore body 2 in Irtysh deposit

Abstract: Purpose. Justification and selection of a rational scheme for accessing the second ore body of the Irtysh deposit based on a technical and economic comparison of its adopted competitive options.Methods. The main mining, geological and engineering requirements for selecting the scheme for accessing the Irtysh field are considered to achieve the goal. Three competitive accessing options are proposed on the basis of project regulatory documents and geotechnological features of the ore body. The optimal scheme of … Show more

“…For elastic-plastic properties of rocks, control of the stress-strain state of a rock mass in the process of conducting and developing mining operations (geomechanical and, as an integral part, seismic monitoring). To ensure the stability of mine workings and prevent the dynamic manifestation of rock pressure, forecasting various sections of the rock mass and ores according to the degree of rock burst hazard and prevention of the dynamic manifestation of rock pressure [22,23]. Geomechanical monitoring of the rock mass and pillars of various purposes is carried out by means of sound and mine surveying instruments, string strain gauges, depth and ground benchmarks.…”
