Abstract:Rice production in the rainfed agro-ecosystems of Southern Senegal could be improved by providing farmers with more diverse and adapted varieties. In this study, 11 improved rice varieties from AfricaRice were introduced and assessed for adaptability through participatory evaluation trial in the village of Enampor (Lower Casamance zone).
