Selective Bactericidal Activity of Divalent Metal Salts of Lauric Acid

Abstract: Bacteria play a crucial role in skin health. For example, Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acnes cause skin roughness and acne, whereas Staphylococcus epidermidis enhances innate barrier immunity.
