Selenium, TGF-Beta and Infectious Endemic Cardiopathy: Lessons from Benchwork to Clinical Application in Chagas Disease

Abstract: For over 60 years, selenium (Se) has been known as an essential microelement to many biological functions, including cardiovascular homeostasis.
