Abstract:This paper presents a very low–profile self‐decoupled four/six‐element multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) antenna. Dielectric properties as measured of a manufactured biomass substrate are used to design the antenna. On the antenna's top surface, two types of asymmetric antenna elements are used. Among the six elements—two pairs are symmetric, and the third pair is slightly different with respect to the first two pairs in dimension.
