Semiconductive Tl2O3 nanoparticles: Facile synthesis in liquid phase, characterization and its applications as photocatalytic substrate and electrochemical sensor

Abstract: For the first time, we reported the facile synthesis of semiconducting thallium oxide nanoparticles using thallium (III) acetate as the starting reagent through the microwave and co-precipitation methods. Results showed that the microwave power, irradiation time and pH value plays an essential role in the control of final products size distribution.
