Abstract:Development of irreversible pulmonary hypertension in D-transposition of the great arteries (D-TGA) with ventricular septal defect (VSD) is a well-known phenomenon. Coexistence of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO) should theoretically protect the patient against pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
