Sensitive and Selective Electrochemical Resolution of Tyrosine with Ascorbic Acid through the Development of Electropolymerized Alizarin Sodium Sulfonate Modified Carbon Nanotube Paste Electrodes

Abstract: An approachable and a selective electrocatalytic investigation of tyrosine (TR) with ascorbic acid (AA) in phosphate buffer solution (PBS) was done using a sensitive Poly Alizarin sodium sulfonate modified Carbon nanotube paste electrode (PASSMCNTPE). The morphological and elemental studies on PASSMCNTPE and bare carbon nanotube paste electrode (BCNTPE) were resolute through field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX). The PASSMCNTPE shows excellent sensit… Show more

“…The concentration of the analytes plays an important role in the current sensitivity of the electrode. Generally, as the concentration of the analytes increases, the current response also increases linearly [ 41 , 42 , 43 ]. This is due to the availability of more numbers of analyte molecules [ 44 ].…”

“…Among them, cyclic voltammetry is proved to be one of the better and highly advantageous electrochemical methods used to detect organic, inorganic, organometallic, and biological heavy metal ions. High sensitivity, fast response, live monitoring data acquisition, wide detection limit, and possibility of simultaneous detection of multi elements by surface functionalization has made it one of the popular choices among the environmentalists used to detect the heavy metals [6,[17][18][19][20][21]. The present book chapter focus on the recent developments, current challenges, and prospects for future research in cyclic voltammetric determination of lead, arsenic, and cadmium in the environment.…”

“…However, these traditional analysis methods require large equipment, high cost, complex operation and sample pre-processing. Electrochemical method has received attractive attention due to its rapidity, ease of use, and low cost ( Manjunatha et al, 2013 ; Lu et al, 2018 ; Hareesha et al, 2019 ; Hareesha and Manjunatha, 2020a ; Hareesha and Manjunatha, 2020b ; Charithra et al, 2020 ).…”
